Il percorso di installazioni di land art Paesaggi Cosmici vuole descrivere le diverse fasi dello sviluppo dell’Universo, dai momenti prima del Big Bang, alla formazione delle galassie, alla disposizione delle stelle in quelle che oggi conosciamo come costellazioni, fino alla perdita dell’interesse per i miti e le leggende che hanno reso, nel passato, la volta celeste un elemento vivo e presente per il genere umano. La ricerca artistica e il linguaggio che Serasini utilizza per la rappresentazione di questi momenti è quello caratteristico del Progetto Costellazioni: dischi di diverso diametro per rappresentare le stelle di magnitudo diversa, linee con punte alle estremità per rappresentare i collegamenti tra le stelle, ma anche riproduzioni di incisioni del 1600 provenienti dai più famosi atlanti stellari.
In questa prima installazione, dal titolo Intorno alle Origini (le altre saranno realizzate nel biennio 2026-2027 e corredate dalle sonorità di Marco Ricci del Mastro), Serasini interpreta il momento della nascita dell’Universo come una fase di stasi, con gli elementi del cosmo (stelle e linee) in una calma quiete, sospesi dal terreno e disposti a formare un disco.

Within the Giardino Forest Complex, the Paesaggi Cosmici land art installation path (Cosmic Landscapes) aims to depict the different stages of the Universe’s development, from the moments before the Big Bang, to the formation of galaxies, to the arrangement of stars in what we now know as constellations, up to the loss of interest in the myths and legends that once made the night sky a living and present element for humankind. The artistic research and the language that Serasini uses to depict these moments are characteristic of the Progetto Costellazioni (Constellations Project): discs of different diameters to represent stars of varying magnitudes, lines with pointed ends to represent the connections between stars, as well as reproductions of 17th-century engravings from the most famous star atlases. In this first installation, titled Around the Origins (the others will be created in the 2026-2027 biennium and accompanied by the sounds of Marco Ricci of the Mastro), Serasini interprets the moment of the Universe’s birth as a phase of stasis, with the elements of the cosmos (stars and lines) in a calm stillness, suspended above the ground and arranged to form a disc.
